Bluebell Railway

BR Class 2MT 2-6-0 No.78019 Built 1954.

Based on a LMS design but modified a Standard Class design the smallest know as class 2. Built as both Tender and Tank Engines . This example was built in Darlington in 1954, later being withdrawn in 1966 and becoming one of many locomotives to find its way to the famous Barry scrap yard. 78019 was sold to  member of the Seven Valley Railway for Preservation, moving to the Great Central Railway for completion of restoration.
