This charter was aimed at recreating
a little of the classic Somerset and Dorset double-headers using British Railway
Standard 4 No.75027 and West Country No.34028 Eddystone. Both locomotives are
credited as working on the Somerset and Dorset Railway and where lined up with
six green MK1 carriages. The weather was changeable throughout the day
with very strong winds, we did see the sun for very short periods and much rest
on the evening shoot, but that was even wetter. Despite all that a good time was
had made better by pleasant company of the other people participating.
