Bluebell Railway

The SOUTHERN at WAR - 2004

Turning back the clock to the days of the 2nd World War with 1940's cameo scenes at each of the Bluebell's stations, visitors where able to glimpse back in time. The SR "USA" class Dock Tank No.30064, posed in its wartime livery, at Sheffield Park along with a selection of Military Vehicles and people, appropriately dressed  for the period.  There were many more displays at Horsted Keynes and Kingscote stations, including the Girls Land Army, Jive dancing and even the Prime Minister 'Winston Churchill' was seen being escorted around the railway.
